Samoa

The Teuila Festival is Samoa's premier annual cultural celebration, held every September in Apia, named after the red ginger national flower, showcasing Polynesian arts, music (like the fiery Siva Afi), traditional crafts (Siapo making, tattooing), food, and culminating in the Miss Samoa Pageant, highlighting Samoan heritage, community, and sustainability (often plastic-free).  The whole country celebrates, and it’s size makes it easy to get out of the capital city and fall in love with this amazing place.
